80's Rock Invasion

Saturday, October 14, 2023 • 8:00pm

80’s Rock Invasion will bring four of the biggest acts of the decade to Kansas Star Casino on Saturday, October 14. Get ready to rock alongside some of your favorite artists including Stephen Pearcy of RATT, Great White, SLAUGHTER and Vixen.
As the founder, leader singer and songwriter of the metal rock band RATT, Stephen Pearcy is credited with having been a pioneer of the early 80’s Sunset Strip rock scene. Capturing critical acclaim for his performances, style and uniquely salacious vocals, RATT climbed up the charts with singles from his 1984 album, “Out of the Cellar.” Throughout RATT’s nearly four decades of success with Pearcy at its helm, they released 8 albums and played thousands of shows worldwide all the while selling over 20 million records.

Great White’s ride runs deep and their passion for the music goes beyond any depth. The GRAMMY nominated hard rock legends have captivated audiences worldwide since 1982 with crushing blues-based guitar riffs and swagger that invokes an emotional high for anyone that listens. To experience their hits live in concert – “Rock Me,” “Mista Bone,” “Save Your Love,” “House of Broken Love,” and “Lady Right Light” – is to ride an emotional wave of sultry connections, arousing lyrics and an all-out marathon of hard-hitting orchestrations.
Hard rock band SLAUGHTER brings over three decades of Rock and Roll to the stage. Their first album dropped in 1990 with hit singles “Up All Night” and “Fly to The Angels.” Never was SLAUGHTER more accurately represented than live onstage in front of their legions of devoted fans over the decades. Despite the hardships the band has faced over the years, they have shown that with perseverance and sheer talent, they can survive and win over the support of fans.
Founded in St. Paul, Minnesota by high-schooler guitarist Jan Kuehnemund, Vixen is the only all-female hard rock band from the 80’s to sell over a million albums, have six #1 videos on MTV and have four songs in Billboard’s Top 100. In 1987, EMI Records released their self-named debut album, “Vixen,” featuring the groups’ first hit, “Edge of a Broken Heart.” After Jan’s passing in 2013, the band carried on the Vixen’s legacy rocking theaters, casinos and major festivals.  Game On.”
