GRAMMY-nominated country trio Midland will bring their signature sound and style to Kansas Star Arena on Thursday, December 18.
Based in Dripping Springs, Texas, the trio first made waves playing local clubs, quickly earning critical attention and landing a number one spot on Billboard’s Top Country Album Sales chart with their sophomore release, “Let it Roll.” Consisting of lead singer Mark Wystrach, bassist/vocalist Cameron Duddy and guitarist/vocalist Jess Carson, Midland is best known for their chart-topping hits like the 5X Platinum “Drinkin’ Problem,” “Burn Out” and “Mr. Lonely.”
Bringing listeners a resurgence of their thick harmonies, sad melodies, tart lyrics and steel guitar with the their critically-acclaimed Dave Cobb-produced album Barley Blue (released last fall via Big Machine Records), the retro-Nuevo trio of songwriters has grown from bar band to an in-demand headliner. After their standout “top-notch performance (Billboard) in front of tens of thousands of fans at Stagecoach Festival last month, it’s clear that Midland’s live shows are bigger and better than ever.
Doors open at 7:00pm, with Midland taking the stage at 8:00pm. Tickets go on-sale Saturday, May 10 at 10:00am. Tickets are available for purchased online or by visiting Boyd Rewards at the Kansas Star Casino.
